Helicopter training information

Corporate Helicopters’ San Diego school publishes Robinson-based certificate training and additional transition or recurrent courses. The company also performs commercial helicopter work, but those operational aircraft should not be assumed available for a student course.

The helicopter menu includes discovery flight, Private pilot, Commercial pilot, Instrument rating. For a meaningful comparison with another school, request a stage-by-stage plan that names the aircraft, flight and ground instruction, and how progress is reviewed before moving to the next qualification.

Published helicopter training platforms include Robinson R44, Robinson R44 Cadet. This identifies models connected with the reviewed training material; the provider should confirm which aircraft can actually be scheduled for your course.

Details to compare

• Compare the helicopter-specific course plan, lesson frequency and instructor continuity.
• Ask for a written estimate that separates helicopter rental, flight instruction, ground lessons, tests and additional-hour charges.
• Confirm which of these published models is scheduled for your stage: Robinson R44, Robinson R44 Cadet. Aircraft access can change between initial and advanced training.

Student review evidence

Read the experience in context.

External review links were collected in the source review dated 2026-10-23. They are provided for context, not converted into a HeliSchoolsUS star score or a typical student outcome. Check the date, airport, course and aircraft category of each account; tour experiences and broad campus opinions do not establish the quality of a helicopter certificate program.

Review scope: Individual student accounts; aircraft category and course should be checked in the original source

FAA reference & course scope

A current helicopter-course approval is not established by the available roster evidence. An absent or unresolved match does not show that the school is closed or that instruction is unavailable. Ask which Part 61 or Part 141 syllabus applies to the course, and cross-check the provider on faa.gov.

Part 61 describes certification and training requirements; it is not a school certification. Part 141 approvals are specific to the school and approved courses.
